ICON Survey Tool

Building survey tool to allow surveyors to update and retrieve data in real-time whilst on-site.

 

This application integrates with MS-SQL database via an XML web service that we also created.

On the device compact MS-SQL database was used for local data storage and the application integrated with the on-board camera capable to store images. 

A robust protocol ensured optimum working with unreliable 3G/GPRS connections. The application offered end to end data security, storage and offline working capability.
